 Original writing

This option is best for people who lack the time, the expertise, and/or the inclination to write their own material, or who have some idea of the message or idea they want to convey but are unsure about how to articulate it clearly.

How it works: I help you identify the purpose of your message, the intended audience, and the desired impact. Combining your information with my insights and expertise, I create new material for you. The result is a document that meets your objectives. Unlike ghostwriting, it is not written with your “voice” in mind. We communicate by phone and e-mail.

High-end copy editing

This option is best for people who have a written draft such as a business proposal, presentation, article, or book, and want to elevate its content.

How it works: you tell me the purpose of the document, the intended audience, and the desired impact. I review your document from both strategic and tactical perspectives and provide detailed feedback. Strategically, I ensure the document meets your objectives and highlights its hidden value. Tactically, I edit the document for grammar, punctuation, and correct language usage. This process usually requires extensive re-writing of the original content. The result is a document that is much more compelling than the original. We communicate by phone and e-mail.

Ghostwriting

This option is best for people who want to convey a message or idea or tell a story in their own words and voice, yet lack the time and/or expertise to do so.

How it works: you tell me what type of document you wish to create, its purpose, and its audience. You provide me with access to some of your written and/or verbal material so I can learn what your “voice” sounds like and emulate it when I’m writing. You provide the content through extensive phone conversations and/or face-to-face meetings. The result is a document that conveys your intended message in your own voice. My involvement in writing this document remains confidential.
